Katherine Thomas has been with LPL Financial since January 2017, and became licensed in March of 2017. She holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses held with LPL Financial. Previously, she studied at the University of Denver, majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics. In June 2015 she received her BSBA from Daniel’s College of Business of the University of Denver. During her studies she coached figure skating, studied abroad in Milan, Italy, was President of her sorority Chi Omega, and interned for Margaret English. Katherine feels that her time as a coach helped her further develop her teaching and listening skills, as well as attention to detail. Her time as President of Chi Omega enhanced her leadership skills, creative problem solving abilities, development and planning skills of short and long term goals, and managerial strategies.
Katherine has had a unique experience watching her parents create a financial practice truly focused on multigenerational planning over the past 20 years. The teamwork, dedication, honesty and integrity her parents embodied are characteristics Katherine believes are essential to the business. While she is new to the practice, it is an honor to work side by side with her mother, Meg English, to continue to grow and serve this practice.
Away from the business, she enjoys figure skating, snowboarding, traveling, attending musicals and plays, volunteering for Children’s Hospital and Make-a-Wish, as well as cheering on the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos.
